Mock interview

Practice a realistic spoken interview and get an honest scorecard. Works on Android and iPhone.

How do you want to practice?
Length of interview
Interviewer's speaking speed

Choose Slower if English is not your first language, or Faster if the pace feels sluggish.

A posting on a noticeboard, a printed job description, a competency list, an interview invitation. It reads it and files it in the right place.

Interview process research

A professional resume-writer agent adapts your base resume (from the Me tab) to this posting and saves it here.

A professional writer drafts a cover letter tailored to this job, from your real experience, and saves it here.

Many applications ask extra written questions (why this role, scenario prompts, screening questions). Paste them here and a professional writer drafts answers from your real experience. Leave it blank to answer the common ones.

Interviewer
Main questions

The interviewer speaks out loud and listens to your spoken answers, like a real interview. It opens with a question such as "tell me about yourself", asks your main questions with follow-ups, invites your own questions and answers them, then scores you at the end.

Attach a document (job profile, selection criteria: PDF or Word)

If the posting links to a Job Profile or criteria document that the agent could not open, download it while you are signed in, then attach it here. The agent reads it and adds it to the posting.

Your resume, a certificate, a reference letter, or notes about something you did. It reads it and adds it where it belongs.

Entered once, used by every job. This is what makes the answers sound like you rather than a chatbot.

Step 1: How you talk

Do this first. The agent asks you five short questions, learns your voice, and uses it to write every story so they sound like you, not a chatbot. Answer out loud with Speak if you can, it captures your rhythm better.

Step 2: My stories

Your real experiences, written in your own voice. Add one at a time: jot down what happened in rough notes, tap Write this in my voice, and the agent turns it into a story you can tell. Each one appears below and gets reused, and re-angled, for every job you prepare.

Extra notes (optional)

Coaching

Your English is checked in every review, for everyone. Turn this on as well and the coach will explain the pattern behind each correction, unpack any idiom it uses, and walk you through how Canadian interviews work.

Live helper speed

How quickly the first words reached the screen after the interviewer stopped talking. Measured on this phone, shown here rather than during an interview.

Your data

Choose where your resume, stories and jobs live. Your AI keys are never backed up. Recordings are never uploaded to us: Export sends the whole lot, recordings included, straight to your email or cloud drive, and on the new phone you pick Restore at the very first setup step.

Interview recordings

Practice interviews are recorded on this phone so the coaching can work from what you actually said, rather than from what the phone thought it heard. Nothing is uploaded to us, and nothing is ever deleted unless you delete it here.

Your connections

Everything the app does runs on services you connect with your own key. Your keys live only on this phone and go straight to each provider. You are billed by them directly, never through CalmAnswer.

🧠The brain

The AI that runs everything: live help, employer research, resumes, stories and mock interviews. Pick a provider and connect your key.
